It measures the extraction temperature

The MaraX's dual pressure gauge allows you to monitor the boiler pressure during coffee extraction. You will be able to observe the extraction curve from pre-infusion to the end of extraction.

An open tank

The new engraved and fully open tank makes filling and cleaning even easier. It is equipped with sliders to memorize the number of fillings and thus facilitate the replacement of the softener filter.

MaraX has eliminated the waiting between extractions typical of E61 groups. This machine is always ready for the next extraction.

New stainless steel boiler

The new AISI316L stainless steel boiler is another detail aimed at improving the final result: an espresso that maintains the taste and aroma of each coffee from start to finish.

Extractions like you've never seen before

Every element of the machine contributes to creating the perfect espresso. The Lelit58 filter holder with the coffee slide coffee outlets delivers the espresso into the cup while respecting the crema. Nothing is done by chance, the inclination, the length of the coffee outlets and the open areas are carefully calibrated to always give the best extraction.

The MaraX's design is coupled with unparalleled manufacturing quality thanks to its satin stainless steel finish, its drip tray and its cup warmer with self-cleaning grid.

Cool touch nozzles (anti-scald)

The new Lelit nozzles are all 'cool touch' to avoid burns. Their cleaning is also made easier to avoid scaling and make creating your coffees even easier.

Energy saving

MaraX is equipped with a sophisticated energy-saving system that reduces the pressure in the steam boiler after a period of inactivity of 30 minutes. The savings thus obtained are significant, avoiding wasting energy unnecessarily. The heating time of the machine once switched on is only 24 minutes.

On the MaraX, there are 2 operating modes:

1- Steam X mode: In this mode, the machine works as if it were equipped with 2 kettles. In fact, it guarantees the availability of steam when the extraction is finished. In this scenario, the temperature profile of the coffee extraction is less stable but becomes clearer during the infusion. The heat exchanger works more intensely in order to balance the temperature variations inside the kettle during the extraction process.

2- X Coffee Mode: In this mode, the machine operates as if it were equipped with a single PID-controlled kettle. The software then turns off the steam kettle while the coffee is being extracted, which on the one hand reduces the risk of overheating (a problem often associated with heat exchanger machines), and on the other hand it optimizes thermal stability. In order to recognize which mode the device is in, simply turn the machine off and then on again; if the ON/OFF switch indicator flashes, this indicates that X Coffee Mode is active.
