Moccamaster KBGV

The KBGV Select selector allows you to choose between a half or full carafe.
The brewing speed and heating plate temperature automatically adjust to your preference, ensuring a coffee that always meets the "golden cup" standard. The filter holder automatically stops the flow of coffee when the carafe is removed.
All models with a glass carafe have a warming plate with an independent heating element that keeps the coffee at the ideal temperature.

How it works: Infusion with your KBGV Select

1. Fast brewing time
Simple to use with a quiet brewing process, the KBGV Select brews a half or full carafe of coffee in 4 to 6 minutes.

2. Constant temperature
The copper heating element quickly heats water to an ideal brewing temperature of 196°F to 205°F (91°C to 96°C), then automatically shuts off when the reservoir is empty.

3. Precision engineering
Boiling forces water through a glass tube to the dispensing arm, where it is pulsed over the coffee, replicating a manual pour-over brew.

4. OPTIMIZED COFFEE EXTRACTION
The conical filter holder allows the coffee to brew more slowly, extracting all of its richness, complexity, aromas and flavors.

5. INDEPENDENT HOT PLATE
The selector adjusts the temperature of the heating plate between 175°F and 185°F (80 to 85°C), depending on the amount of coffee being prepared. The main switch and the heating plate automatically turn off after 100 minutes.
